This Kyusu is Tokoname ware certified by a Japanese tea instructor"Japanese tea sommelier". This Kyusu we have selected for you is the most popular size, 130ml (4.39fl oz), perfect for 1 to 2 people. Alternatively, the size, 270ml (9.13fl oz), is ideal for 2-3 people. This Kyusu has a very classic and simple design. It is suitable for brewing advanced japanese tea.
This Kyusu is made in the Tokoname region. Of course, the tea strainer is made of ceramic. The flavor of the tea does not change. This Kyusu has a ceramic fine mesh filter, not removable mesh filter basket. Many ceramic Kyusu have a small mesh filter basket, so unfortunately the tea leaves can't fully open and therefore the flavor of the brewed tea will be weak. In many cases, ceramic mesh is not fine but rough like Dobin, which is not suitable for brewing Sencha Fukamushi and Konacha. However, since the ceramic mesh of this Kyusu is fine, not only our Kamairi-cha but also all kinds of Japanese tea such as Sencha Fukamushi and Konacha can be brewed. With this Kyusu, you can enjoy the original taste and aroma of any tea.
